ABOUT THE CLUB

Dumbarton Academy FP AFC was formed in 1911. Ex pupils of the secondary school founded the club, and over the past 98 years, "The Accies" has enjoyed it's success on the park and provided football for many of the town's youth and amateur players.
Presently The Accies run 4 teams, consisting of two amateur, one under 21 team and one team of under 19's.

Accies main sponsor is Jim Park (Powwow).
Dumbuck Hotel, Eastfield BC and David Muir & Company have also provided sponsorship contributions recently.

Accies home park is the Academy Playing Fields, next to Townend Rd, while parks at The Common, Tontine, Dillichip and Argyle are used as alternatives.
