Accies squad was again below strength for the trip across the water to face Premier opposition and this showed with a nervy start that saw Bishopton take a first half lead when a lack of concentration from Accies allowed an easy finish, Against the run of play, Accies equalised with the goal their hard work deserved, McGillvray collecting a through ball to finish smartly. Bishopton raised their game and with 15 mins remaining regained the lead after good work down their left. The result was put beyond doubt after a contentious penalty was converted to seal a 3-1 that on reflection was a fair result.
