Dumbarton Academy FPs Centenary year celebrations

The Dumbarton Academy FPs Centenary year celebrations turn to football in August. A gala day of events will take place on Sunday 14th August 2011. To mark the Centenary year, St Patrick FP, have agreed to play a series of matches on the day against their local rivals. First up will be the two current teams, kick off approx 12 Noon. This promises to be a hard fought contest between the two adversaries and supporters of both teams should make their way to the Academy Playing Fields for the early kick off. Next up will be two matches between the over 50s and over 40s of each team. The veterans and legends will play one hour matches to entertain an expected large crowd. Accies would like to invite as many ex players to participate and ask that players from the 70s, 80s and 90s get in touch with the club to place their name on the team line.
